Watch out for Half-Term Deals

Britain’s school kids usually get a 1 week break in the middle of their semesters and this time is called half-term. This means that Britain’s popular tourist attractions will be mobbed with kids and families as they seek to take advantage of the days off.

That said – while you’ll have to contend with more crowds – keep a look out for special half-term deals to take advantage of. Many of the railways, museums, etc will offer special half-term deals that you can take advantage of – even if you’re from outside the country.

So when it half-term time in Britain?

Well, that will depend on which part of Britain you’re in but here’s a rough guide:

Autumn term: Early September to mid December (half term: late October)
Spring Term: Early January to Easter (half term: mid February)
Summer Term: Easter to mid July (half term: late May/early June)
