Coventry is at the heart of England and features much rich history and attractions worth a visit. Though much of the city was destroyed during World War II – there’s still plenty of heritage in the city centre.

  • Coventry Transport Museum – From the penny farthing to the DeLorean sports car, the Transport Museum hosts a history of road transport.
  • Relax in Memorial Park – Relax in Coventry’s peaceful Memorial Park. The park hosts various events, including the annual Godiva Festival in June.
  • Visit the Herbert Museum and Art Gallery – The Herbert has undergone a £20 million redevelopment. It’s now a major local attraction which highlights Coventry as a major city for arts and heritage.
  • Coventry Cathedral – The gothic cathedral was destroyed during WWII but the ruins are still there – right next to the gleaming new cathedral that rose from the ashes. Very moving visit!
