Guide to EasyJet Fees and Charges

Like Ryanair, EasyJet is a great way to travel cheap by air around Britain. And also like Ryanair, EasyJet is notorious for ripping off consumers with their absurd fees. Here’s a quick guide to them so you don’t get taken for a ride.

New booking Fee

All bookings will incur a £9.00 administration fee. Bookings made by Visa Credit Card, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express, Carte Bleue (domestic transactions only) and UATP/Airplus will incur an additional fee of 2.5% of the total transaction value, with a minimum charge of £4.95, whichever is greater.

Flight transfers and name changes

Paying for flight transfers and name changes to existing bookings by Carte Bleue, Visa Electron, ELV, Visa debit card, or Maestro/ Solo is free of charge.
Payments made using Visa credit cards, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, or UATP/ AirPlus will incur a transaction fee of 2.5% of the total value of the flight and/or name changes.

Cancellation fee – £30

Name change fee – £35(online)

Flight change fee – £35(online)

Rescue fee – £50

Excess baggage fee – £10 per kilo over

Sports equipment per flight – £25 (online)

Speedy Boarding – £14

Infant charge – £20

Admin fee – £9

Group booking fee – £4.50 per passenger

Administration fee for insurance letters and printed flight confirmations – £10
