Budget Tip: Take a Cheap Cruise on the Thames with the Tate-to-Tate

If you’re looking for a great way to see London but don’t want to pay for the high priced boat tours – consider taking the Tate to Tate boat ride.

It’s an all day boat service that runs from the Tate Modern to the Tate Britain. The Tate Boat runs every forty minutes during gallery opening hours between Tate Britain and Tate Modern.

You’ll get to see a huge chunk of London from the Thames and you get the added bonus of getting to a great museum at the end.

It only costs £5.50 one day (about $8 USD or so). It’s even cheaper if you have an Oyster Card (which you should have!).
