Ryanair is one of Europe’s biggest discount airlines and they can be a great way to get around Britain very cheaply – that is if you book your ticket in a way to avoid their famous excessive fees.

Admin Fee – Per passenger/per new one way flight – relates to costs associated with Ryanair’s booking system. £6

Priority Boarding Fee* – Per passenger/ Per One Way Flight £5

Reserved Seating Fee – £10

Infant Fee – Per Infant/Per One Way flight (must be under 2 years for both outbound and return flight) £20

Infant Equipment – (car/booster/travel cot) Fee charged per Item/ Per One Way Flight – maximum weight of 20kg per item (1 pushchair per child carried free of charge). £10

Sports Equipment – Fee charged per Item/ Per One Way Flight A maximum weight of 20kg per item
(Bikes max weight – 30kg) £50

Musical Instrument – Fee charged per Item/ Per One Way Flight A maximum weight of 20kg per item £50

Flight Change Fees – Per Passenger/ Per One Way Flight £50

Name Change Fee – Per Passenger £110

Baggage fees vary based on weight and time of year – they start at £15 and go up to £50
